Welcome to the Halifax Regional Municipality's Access & Privacy online portal

This online portal provides registered users with an easy and efficient way to submit Access Requests or Property Inquiry requests online, and receive responses digitally. Responses will be proivded in a private online Reading Room for viewing and will also be available for download.

Check the status of an existing request

If you are already a registered user of this online portal, please sign in to check the status of your requests. Once signed in, you will see a complete list of all previous requests sbumitted to the municipality, regardless of how they were submitted (e.g. electronically, by mail, etc).

In accordance with Section 485 of the Municipal Government Act, the personal information collected in the submission of your request will only be used and/or disclosed if necessary, for the purpose of processing your Access Request or Property Inquiry.
